About All branches of the Big Tree
Welcome Family- I have created this tree as a convenient way for all of you to see and enjoy the
bigger tree. I am inviting you to view, comment and send pictures of any of the individuals you
find here.
I started this research many years ago and yes, it was before ancestry.com came along. It began
with
scraps of paper with interesting scribbles and some handwritten notes from my Grandma Vada Kimzey.
and Grandma Elizabeth Strasburg.
My Brother-in-law Jack Tomlinson also willingly shared with me. Great Aunt Fern Lewis and Betty
Russells compilations after their deaths also have been of great help. They all had the "bug" in
genealogy ahead of me and their records provided the platform for me to start my own research. I am
so thankful to these family members for passing on the valuable information. Since that time Larry
and I have added to their efforts and filled in many puzzle pieces and branches. We have had a
blast driving... who knows where.... and searching through dusty and hot courthouse records and
overgrown and forgotten cemeteries literally all over the South and Midwest.

This is a living tree and as such has some branches more to fill in and some mistakes in it. No
family feuding please! Please ask questions and comment if you see something that is inaccurate. I
desire your help and accuracy. There are several special projects also herein that need attention
and if you feel led to assist me in any, I would love that. This is a completely private tree, only
invited guests/family at this point are able to see the information. When and if I should make it a
available for public use I will remove living persons information. Enjoy the shade.
PLEASE SEND PICTURES AND SIGN THE GUEST BOOK!!!

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
